A pure, clean, and innocient soul died for us(3) - water, blood, and spirit

Like walking on the strait and narrow path, in the following ancient Chinese oracle drawing, people should enter into a covenant with our Lord first, and this covenant is baptism in the name of Jesus Christ(Mosiah 18:10), and then, if they kept the commandments, they would be cleaned by the blood of the Only Begotten.

“That by reason of transgression cometh the fall, which fall bringeth death, and inasmuch as ye were born into the world by water, and blood, and the spirit, which I have made, and so became of dust a living soul, even so ye must be born again into the kingdom of heaven, of water, and of the Spirit, and be cleansed by blood, even the blood of mine Only Begotten; that ye might be sanctified from all sin, and enjoy the words of eternal life in this world, and eternal life in the world to come, even immortal glory”(Moses 6:59)

The following picture shown "the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost", where the fire came from. The bottom drawing is the ancient drawing of "giving the gift of Holy Ghost".

Two pictures of fire under a man's (a Holy Priesthood holder) both hands, shown "And to confirm the church by the laying on of the hands, and the giving of the Holy Ghost"(D&C 20:43).

Following drawing is a man kneeing down with a fire on his head, shown he was "receiving the Holy Ghost".

This was shown unto us “For by the water ye keep the commandment; by the Spirit ye are justified, and by the blood ye are sanctified”(Moses 6: 60).

Nephi urged us to repent and be baptised, “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, I know that if ye shall follow the Son, with full purpose of heart, acting no hypocrisy and no deception before God, but with real intent, repenting of your sins, witnessing unto the Father that ye are willing to take upon you the name of Christ, by baptism—yea, by following your Lord and your Savior down into the water, according to his word, behold, then shall ye receive the Holy Ghost; yea, then cometh the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost; and then can ye speak with the tongue of angels, and shout praises unto the Holy One of Israel”(2Nephi 31:13).

A pure, clean, and innocient soul died for us(2)

Abinadi quoted the Book of Isaiah to teach the wicked Priests of King Noah,“He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed”(Mosiah 14:3-5).

The Lamb of God was judged of the world and smitten by the word of God; it is symbolized by the story which Moses smote the rock with his rod. This symbol is also shown in the ancient Chinese oracle drawing above.

After the rock being smitten, it came forth water abundantly(Numbers 20:11).

This ancient oracle drawing symbolized that water came forth.

No matter what it was shedding. The blood,

or the living water.

Nephi answered the angel in the Lehi's dream about the tree of life,“Yea, it is the love of God, which sheddeth itself abroad in the hearts of the children of men; wherefore, it is the most desirable above all things”(1Nephi 11:22). The center part of this oracle drawing means "Sun", and sun does shed its sunbeam on us and warm our hearts.

The repented people drink these sheddings as the drawing shown.

Just like the angel telling Nephi,“Yea, and the most joyous to the soul”(1Nephi 11:23), people would feel joyous after tasting these sheddings. This ancient drawing means "joy".

A pure, clean, and innocient soul died for us(1)

“For behold, the time cometh, and is not far distant, that with power, the Lord Omnipotent who reigneth, who was, and is from all eternity to all eternity, shall come down from heaven among the children of men, and shall dwell in a tabernacle of clay, and shall go forth amongst men, working mighty miracles, such as healing the sick, raising the dead, causing the lame to walk, the blind to receive their sight, and the deaf to hear, and curing all manner of diseases. And he shall cast out devils, or the evil spirits which dwell in the hearts of the children of men”(Mosiah 3:5-6).

“And lo, he shall suffer temptations, and pain of body, hunger, thirst, and fatigue, even more than man can suffer, except it be unto death; for behold, blood cometh from every pore, so great shall be his anguish for the wickedness and the abominations of his people. And he shall be called Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Father of heaven and earth, the Creator of all things from the beginning; and his mother shall be called Mary”(Mosiah 3:7-8).

“Therefore I command you to repent—repent, lest I smite you by the rod of my mouth, and by my wrath, and by my anger, and your sufferings be sore—how sore you know not, how exquisite you know not, yea, how hard to bear you know not”(D&C 19:15).

“For behold, I, God, have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer if they would repent; But if they would not repent they must suffer even as I;
18 Which suffering caused myself, even God, the greatest of all, to tremble because of pain, and to bleed at every pore, and to suffer both body and spirit—and would that I might not drink the bitter cup, and shrink— Nevertheless, glory be to the Father, and I partook and finished my preparations unto the children of men”(D$C 19:16-19).

Following verses quoted from the Lehi’s dream.

“26 And the angel said unto me again: Look and behold the condescension of God!
27 And I looked and beheld the Redeemer of the world, of whom my father had spoken; and I also beheld the prophet who should prepare the way before him. And the Lamb of God went forth and was baptized of him; and after he was baptized, I beheld the heavens open, and the Holy Ghost come down out of heaven and abide upon him in the form of a dove.
28 And I beheld that he went forth ministering unto the people, in power and great glory; and the multitudes were gathered together to hear him; and I beheld that they cast him out from among them.
29 And I also beheld twelve others following him. And it came to pass that they were carried away in the Spirit from before my face, and I saw them not.
30 And it came to pass that the angel spake unto me again, saying: Look! And I looked, and I beheld the heavens open again, and I saw angels descending upon the children of men; and they did minister unto them.
31 And he spake unto me again, saying: Look! And I looked, and I beheld the Lamb of God going forth among the children of men. And I beheld multitudes of people who were sick, and who were afflicted with all manner of diseases, and with devils and unclean spirits; and the angel spake and showed all these things unto me. And they were healed by the power of the Lamb of God; and the devils and the unclean spirits were cast out.
32 And it came to pass that the angel spake unto me again, saying: Look! And I looked and beheld the Lamb of God, that he was taken by the people; yea, the Son of the everlasting God was judged of the world; and I saw and bear record.
33 And I, Nephi, saw that he was lifted up upon the cross and slain for the sins of the world”(1 Nephi 11:26-33)

A pure, clean, and innocient soul died for us

There are two Chinese characters used for counting units of man. The first one is "mouth". Each person has only one mouth. One "mouth" is one person, and two "mouths" are two people, and so on. The other one is "soul"(This meaning is from the ancient Chinese oracle drawings, not from the modern Chinese). When cutting a shape of a man horizontally, a square or a circle, shown as a spirit in the tabernacle of a human body, will be drawn.

The very good examples of ancient Chinese oracle drawings for explaining the differences to us are the words of "death" and "star". Following are the drawings of "death" and "star".

The drawing of "death" is a dead tree encompassed by many mouths, and the drawing of "star" is the tree of life surrounded by many souls.

Once Jesus tought a woman of Samaria, said, "Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life"(John 4:13-14).

People who eat and drink the food of this world will be hungry and thirsty again, and die at last; the souls who eat and drink from the tree of life will be never hungry and thirsty again, and will gain his everlasting life finally.

A pure, clean, and innocient soul

From the map of Lehi's dream, there are many ways that a soul can follow.

After Adam's fall, there are too many things full of human's minds, and no soul is pure, clean, and innocient.

The ancient Chinese oracle drawing was shown that there would be a pure, clean, and innocient soul encompassing the flamming sword and dying for all men.

This drawing was shown that the soul encompassed the whole flamming sword which turned every way.
