In old testament, the Lord asked Moses for the Sacrifices offered to reconcile Israel to God, and Scapegoat carries away sins of the people.
“5 And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.
6 And Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself, and for his house.
7 And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
8 And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat.
9 And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD’s lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.
10 But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.” (Leviticus 16:5-10)

In Ancient Chinese Oracle drawings, which were shown that there were sacrifices offered as burnt offerings on the altar, and also shown that there were sacrifices thrown and sunken into the water. Following are the positons which the sacrifices are supposed to be located of the map of Lehi's dream. The water or the river, according to the Book of Nephi, "And the angel spake unto me, saying: Behold the fountain of filthy water which thy father saw; yea, even the river of which he spake; and the depths thereof are the depths of hell"(1 Nephi 12:16), are the depths of hell. Sacrifices thrown and sunken into the water are similar to the goat gone for a scapegoat into the wilderness, they all make atonements for the people.

The next oracle painted the settlements outside the Temple is smiliar to the tabernacle of Moses,“Set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation” (Exodus 40:6) and “set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar” (Exodus 40:7).

Sacrifice was burned on the altar of as a burnt offering for the people’s sin.

Two words came from this drawing of "an altar of burnt offering with sacrifice burning on it", and they were often used at the end of the sentences in the ancient Chinese book. They were known as expletives at the sentences' ends since no one could tell what they meant.

At first, the priests offered their animal sacrifices on the altar of stones; when the House Of Lord was among God's people, the priests offered their sacrifices on the altar of the burnt offering before God. But 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ came and offered up himself as a burnt offering before God, and was accepted. "Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself"(Hebrews 7:27) , and "But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? "(Hebrews 9:11-14) Today, the words of "an altar of burnt offering with sacrifice burning on it" should be no more known as meaningless expletives in Chinese Christians' hearts, who should know what they offer on their sacraments, prayers, and blessings must be in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ at the ends of all the ceremonies, and that was the same as the ancient Chinese people often used at the lines of sentences .
