A pure, clean, and innocient soul died for us(2)

Abinadi quoted the Book of Isaiah to teach the wicked Priests of King Noah,“He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed”(Mosiah 14:3-5).

The Lamb of God was judged of the world and smitten by the word of God; it is symbolized by the story which Moses smote the rock with his rod. This symbol is also shown in the ancient Chinese oracle drawing above.

After the rock being smitten, it came forth water abundantly(Numbers 20:11).

This ancient oracle drawing symbolized that water came forth.

No matter what it was shedding. The blood,

or the living water.

Nephi answered the angel in the Lehi's dream about the tree of life,“Yea, it is the love of God, which sheddeth itself abroad in the hearts of the children of men; wherefore, it is the most desirable above all things”(1Nephi 11:22). The center part of this oracle drawing means "Sun", and sun does shed its sunbeam on us and warm our hearts.

The repented people drink these sheddings as the drawing shown.

Just like the angel telling Nephi,“Yea, and the most joyous to the soul”(1Nephi 11:23), people would feel joyous after tasting these sheddings. This ancient drawing means "joy".
